Adventures in running a very small business

About

I'm David Burns.

I have worked as a software developer, architect, David_160_2 and development manager at companies including Phoenix Technologies, Lotus Development Corporation, and Solution Systems. I spent several years as a consultant developing software for a variety of clients in technology, software and multimedia.

Now I'm co-owner of Seal Rock Research, a tiny market research firm in San Francisco. We specialize in market research on technology, and we have a lot of fun doing it. This blog is more fun - it's about the minutiae of running a micro-business.
